OI Analytical Flow Solution, a continuous flow auto analyzer, measures liquid samples such as water or extracted soil for ammonium NH4+, nitrite/nitrate (NO2-/NO3-), or nitrite (NO2-) only, and ortho-phosphate (PO4-P). Inorganic N is calculated from elemental concentrations of NH4+ -N and NO3– -N.
